ADVANCE INFORMATION  -  ANN2012  -  OCTOBER 13th to 21st, 2012
ANN refers to the Australian Naturalists Network. This group of Field Naturalists from all the States
and Territories meets every two years for a GET-TOGETHER. In 2010 they met in Chinchilla,
Queensland. We were asked to host the 2012 gathering. After some deliberation the ACT FNAC
Committee agreed and plans are underway which is why updates are given at the monthly meetings.
These dates cover the last weekend of Floriade should our visitors wish to view the exotic plants and
the few native plants on view. The FNAC will make up for the lack of native plants later during the
GET-TOGETHER.

The FNAC will need your help and support during October 2012, if not before, to usher our visitors in
the right directions, to host a BBQ, set up lectures, maybe transport individuals, drive a small bus,
and so on.

Any ideas you have at this stage about places to visit, people to ask and what activities to include will
be greatly appreciated. So don’t hesitate to make contact to pass on your ideas. Thank you!
